Mon Beau Cœur is an ecological project and retreat venue nestled within 100 hectares of forests, meadows, a permaculture garden and an emerging food forests in the Southwest of France— a place for people seeking a deeper relationship with nature, community, creativity, and the way we live on this earth. Together we explore:

“What becomes possible when land restoration and human transformation happen together?”

Our Story

Building a new
way of life.

Mon Beau Cœur began as a vision for a different way of life. A land where forests and biodiversity return, gardens and regenerative grazing nurture healthy ecosystems, and we live in the rhythm of the seasons.

As we started building a deeper relationship with the land, tending to it, planting trees, building healthy soil, we could feel it responding. Every year more biodiversity returns, the ecosystem is slowly building resilience, and a sense of abundance emerges.

In caring for the land, it began to shape and nourish us in return. This growing relationship made us want to share more of the life, learning and magic with others. A dream began to take shape — and it is still unfolding.

We are slowly shaping the landscape through ecological design, conversion of the conventional farm systems into food forest and agroforestry systems, workshops, retreats, residencies, and collective learning experiences.

What started as a land has become many budding experiments: a learning community, a retreat sanctuary and an ecological laboratory.

We believe people need places where they can physically experience alternatives — not as theory, but as lived reality. At Mon Beau Cœur we are exploring slower rhythms, ecological stewardship, shared meals, seasonal living, collective care, meaningful work, beauty in everyday life, and deeper connection to land and community.

Here, learning happens through planting trees, cooking together, walking through forests, building with natural materials, gathering around fires, listening, resting, and paying attention.
